To provide oversight and to ensure support for faculty development and diversity at Harvard, the Office of the Senior Vice Provost works closely with the University Committee on Faculty Development and Diversity, as well as with Deans of Harvard Schools and leaders of Harvard's affiliates.

University Committee on Faculty Development and Diversity

The University Committee on Faculty Development and Diversity (FD&D Committee), chaired by Senior Vice Provost Evelynn M. Hammonds, consists of senior faculty and administrators from each of the University's Schools who are working with their Deans, department chairs, faculty and staff leaders, and other colleagues to address issues related to faculty development and diversity. The FD&D Committee meets monthly to review programming and progress within their Schools and to share practices across Schools.
