New Faculty Institute

Each year, Harvard University welcomes a cadre of outstanding new faculty to our academic community. We hope that each will feel welcomed and find the resources needed to have an easy transition to life at Harvard. We recognize and understand that new faculty have many different needs as they begin their academic life in a new environment. Each faculty member will have different needs, but we hope that everyone will understand how critical all due to Harvard’s community of scholars. New faculty will have opportunities to be welcomed by their department and their school. The Office of Faculty Development & Diversity offers the New Faculty Institute and other events to provide new faculty with opportunities to meet other faculty from across the University. This section provides an overview of the New Faculty Institute activities, and we look forward to meeting each new member of our academic community at this event, which takes place at each beginning of the academic year.
