The mission of the Harvard College Women's Center, located in Canaday Hall B Entry (in Harvard Yard), is to promote awareness of women's and gender issues and to support contributions by women that challenge, motivate, and inspire. By centralizing resources and offering original programs, we empower students and student organizations to achieve their visions in pursuit of these goals. The Women's Center is committed to creating a welcoming environment that encourages diversity of perspective, experience, and values.

Harvard's Office of Faculty Development and Diversity (FD&D) works closely with colleagues in the Provost’s Office, Deans, faculty, and staff leaders across all Schools to aid in the recruitment, hiring, development, promotion, and retention of excellent faculty in all departments.

HGWISE is a GSAS organization of graduate students and is dedicated to the personal, academic and professional development of women in science and engineering at Harvard University. To reach this goal HGWISE supports events and programs that provide educational and networking opportunities as well as social outings for our members. HGWISE also strives to serve as a central source for information on local and national resources and activities for women in science and engineering. Through our activities, we aim to enhance the graduate experience of women in science and engineering at Harvard, to increase the representation of women in science and engineering at all levels, and to improve the environment for women currently pursuing a career in science and engineering. The Committee on the Concerns of Women (CCW) is a university-wide group jointly sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, open to all female staff, administrators, faculty, students, and affiliates. Founded in 1977, the group serves as a network for women throughout the University and as a forum for women's issues and concerns. CCW generally sponsors bi-monthly luncheon programs during the academic year, with the goal of reflecting the interests of women at Harvard. The JCSW was formed to facilitate and enhance the contribution of women at Harvard Medical and Dental Schools by expanding and improving our opportunities for advancement. The JCSW is comprised of both staff and faculty members. The women’s studies in religion program promotes critical inquiry into the interaction between religion and gender. It sponsors research and teaching in feminist theology, biblical studies, ethics, and women’s history, as well as interdisciplinary scholarship on women throughout the world’s religions. The Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School asks what we can do to create gender equality and improve the lives of women and men throughout the world. Their work focuses on research, teaching, and global impact through four initiatives to advance Harvard's understanding of: (1) how women and men think, decide and negotiate; (2) what policies contribute to closing the gender gaps in the economic sphere, politics, education, and health; (3) the strategies that enable women to participate and succeed in politics; and (4) conflict resolution and peace building. The Women's Law Association is an organization of and for women at Harvard Law School. The WLA's goal is to provide support for the women at Harvard Law School in academic, professional, and personal respects. From career development, assistance and support for first year students, to social and volunteer activities, the WLA strives to be a positive factor for all students at Harvard Law School.
