Harvard’s museums and science facilities offer numerous resources to facilitate interactive, hands-on approaches to pedagogy, which enable faculty to “apply the basic concepts and principles they teach to the solution of concrete problems, the accomplishments of specific tasks, and the creation of actual objects and out-of-classroom experiences”, as described in the new General Education Curriculum requirements. This site provides links to many of the resources in our museums and science facilities where faculty can seek assistance in developing teaching resources which can link teaching and learning ever more closely with the many unique objects, artifacts and cutting-edge science equipment to be found at Harvard.
